I think the day that I stop being tickled pink by press/public recognition, I’ll have to hang it up!  This blogger saw the images I created for Terry and Sean’s wedding and had to talk me up!  Thanks Michele!

I was lucky enough to have a number of images featured in the most recent issue of Lynchburg Living!  This article highlights Heather and Todd’s wedding at King Family Vineyards, a delightful location outside of Charlottesville.  Click on the image to view the full size PDF.

I never get over the thrill!  Nancy and Heyward’s wedding was just featured by theknot!

They had a beautful May wedding – see more details by clicking here to read the entire article!

Congratulations you two!

I didn’t get a chance to blog this one earlier when it first came out but I wanted to share it with you!  Weddings Unveiled  magazine is a great publication focusing on upscale weddings here in the South East.  They selected Sarah and Jason’s wedding at their home outside of Charlottesville for all of the fabulous details and I don’t blame them!!  The details were AMAZING!  I especially loved their clear tent!  (so much so that I climbed up and out on the roof of their three story historic home to capture some overall shots of them while they were dancing)

Presenting, Sarah and Jason!

Here’s the cover (which I did not shoot) if you want to look for it in person

I know I sound like a broken record sometimes but its true – I never get over the thrill seeing my work in print! This time, it’s a feature article about my business (vs simply featuring a wedding!)  The magazine is Soiree, a luscious repository of advice, ideas and inspiration!.

pst – cover image is not mine

Here are some smaller images from the article and you can read the whole thing in a full sized PDF here.

There are, as is sometimes the case with media, some small inaccuracies (ie, I”ve been in business in Lynchburg for nine years not six, that sort of thing) – just ignore those and enjoy the rest!

UPDATED! Just got in from a beautiful wedding in Richmond! Emily and Alex were married at the First Presbyterian Church on Cary Street and their reception was held at the Commonwealth Club downtown. More later – (hint this bride loves BLING! ) Emily and Alex exit the ceremony

As promised, more images from the fabulous wedding!  Their rehearsal dinner was held at the Country Club of Virginia.

Please note rehearsal dinner coverage is an option for all of our clients pending our existing availability. On to the wedding day!  The guys show up ready to go!

Emily was ready too in under 15 minutes!

Her Dad?  I’m not so sure he was ready but he put on a good face!

I love churches with balconeys (but unfortunately, thats where we’re pretty much restricted to in this church)

It’s always great working with an “on the ball” coordinator and Mauna (in the pink) fits that bill for sure.  She helps run the event like clockwork!  She only works from personal referrals though. 😉

I think they were glad “it” was all over – now on to the party!

The reception was held at the gorgeous Commonwealth Club dowtown.

The lovely florals were done by Terri White.

Waiting to be announced…

First dance

remember that bling that I mentioned?  Check out the cake!

The band, Groovetown was a party band!  They got out on the floor and ROCKED!

and they had the guests rocking too!

I always enjoy when I can be there at the end of the night!

I’m so thrilled! WedPix (the online magazine from the Wedding Photojournalist Association) just published a very cool piece on photographers and how they capture quiet moments. They were kind enough to not only interview me but to showcase one of my award winning images.
